Much too Long

My son is over 2 years old now. I no longer bike due to safety reasons. I own a lake house with a boat. I’ve been enjoying JRPGs.

I will be updating this space with thoughts as they pop up in my head.

Whoa

So much has changed and life is moving so fast.

I have a great son, 3 months old and I finally receieved my MBA.

I have been striving towards a 1/2 Marathon on October 2nd. Hopefully all goes well with that event. I want to post some stats and thoughts on working out and life. Busy busy busy.

Until next time!

So Long

Empty space for so long. So much is going on. I graduate in June. Spent the summer vacationing with family, a cruise in the fall and going to Disney World this week.

I am going to try and keep this more up to date. Set up alarms to write to the world. Many topics I want to hit up and try not to stay right on cycling. Video games, cycling, workouts, politics, etc I want to hit up.

Long Road Traveled-New Goals

It has been a long time. Much has happened. My wife fought off a brain tumor and I turned all my focus and attention to her health. As of this writing she has had a full recovery and I could not be more proud of her. She is a strong woman and she motivates me.

I was able to get back on my bike in October. Not too much riding, hitting big goals this year.

1. Lose weight, back to 150 pounds. Currently at 175.
2. Hang with the A group at BikeBarn by June
3. 5000+ bike miles
4. Finish in the top 3 at the MA State Triathlon relay team.
5. Do any bike race and have fun & don't get dropped at first hill or fast segment.
6. Block Island Triathlon.
7. More blog posts, weekly is goal. Update Progress. Write about current events?
8. Be a better husband.
9. Finish my courses with B+ or higher in my MBA Program at Northeastern.
10. Knock off my home to do list that I have been neglecting for far too long.

See you next time! Next week?!?!

Copa Mundial

My heart is torn between rooting for Portugal and the USA. Of course they got drawn into the same group! Bummed out! Hoping they both make it out of the group, but it is the group of death so I cannot expect that. We'll see!

New job is going great, loving it! More to come on the beer front.

Ran 3 times this week, slowly getting on track. My wife has been keeping me motivated and getting me to work out. Loving it! Plan is to bike with a group next week and do some after work rides and hopefully figure out riding  to/from work.

Check In

Oh man!! What a whirlwind

Got a new job! Buyer at L.Knife & Sons. Love this new chapter. Beer and cycling, whats better?

About cycling. Great Giro this year. Plenty of drama, great win by Nairo, plenty of panache.

As for my own cycling, doing horribly. I was down and depressed at my old job. My Schedule was a wreck. I'm looking to ride weekends now with the normal crew and get stronger. Hopefully have a strong finish and target the Jamestown Classic.

Rode with my wife in Laconia. Found a nice 12 mile loop to do with her, made me remember why I love cycling.

Until next time!

2nd Semester Ending

Second semester is almost over!! Got one paper to write and then a final for stats and I am done. The bad news is I start Summer I the following week. That entails two classes a night on Tuesday and Thursday night! Dreading that with a passion.

Biking has been on and off, I went on the Muffin ride last Saturday. Hung on strong, hopefuly hit up a group ride tomorrow. Not doing too strong on it, been running more. I have felt great recently, just need to keep doing cardio and doing what I can.

Yard work will soon take up all of my time sadly. Time is of the essence!
